Of course, I got this great (sarcasm intentional) forward yesterday and felt the need to blog about it. Go figure, right. The full email can be found on my favorite myth de-bunking site. Every time I receive a forward (unless I know the source to be 100% accurate), I like to run it by my friend, Mr. Snopes. I often wonder why time and time again, the same person or group of people will continue passing along an old forward through our internet highways. This one regarding Coke and its’ supposedly negative, corrosive effects on random objects has been circulating since 2001! Really? I wish the rumors were at least fresher than that. Then I could waste my time reading them. Ok. I’ll get off my soap box now. On a side note: I’m sure my husband will be thrilled to know that Coke is safe to drink. It may not be healthy but I rest my case…for the time being. ๐
Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion. I am not telling you to go out and drink a Coke. Everyone that knows me, knows that I do not encourage drinking sodas in general. Thank you.
Coke = happiness
haha yea.. awesome. yea, the HCl in your stomach is between 1 and 2 pH, and there's a heck of a lot more in there than any acid found in Coke. i enjoyed the snopes piece ๐
