Mango Protein Smoothie

I’ve been craving smoothies lately and to satisfy the craving, I usually have to come up with a recipe based on what ingredients I already have at home. It has to be easy!

Let me present you Mr. Mango Smoothie. He is delightfully and subtly sweet, as well as satisfying. Everything a girl could want especially after a nice, tough workout.

Mango Protein Smoothie

An original recipe

Ingredients
1 cup skim or low-fat milk
1/2 cup non-fat plain greek yogurt
1 small ripe mango
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 scoop (30 g) vanilla whey protein powder {optional}
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp coconut milk
1 tbsp agave nectar
Ice

Directions
1. Pour milk and yogurt into blender. Add all ingredients minus the ice and blend on high until throughly combined.
2. Add ice until desired thickness has been reached. It was 2 handfuls for me. I love a super thick smoothie.
3. Pour into a tall glass, insert straw and enjoy!
