weekend reading

First of all, THANK YOU all so much for your excitement and sweet words of congratulations on our announcement! We are thrilled (and let’s be honest, a bit scared) to embark on this latest adventure but have faith that it won’t be anything we can’t handle. On a more practical note, this time around I’ll be sharing more about it (I’ll also try to maintain a nice balance of posts, don’t worry!) so stay tuned for that first post next week.

**Because every so often, I come across some great stuff and feel the need to share it. Happy reading and happy weekend, friends.

This one about being intentional in making friendships, it really got me in the gut.

Along the topic of friendships, an interesting thought about how moving away from friends might actually help you see them more.

Now that we are well into toddlerhood around here, this post about tantrums and how to handle them brought up some great questions. It’s so easy to compare and judge other parenting styles, when it’s not you in their shoes, right?

Loving this post from Monica about the 80/20 “rule” when it comes to fitness and eating.

One of my favorite shops will start selling Advent journals + calendars next Wednesday! I can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner.

Nothing (nada, zero, zilch) has sounded good for the past 7-ish weeks, but this waffle + cream cheese (minus the berries) sounds amazing right now.

Finally, read this life-changing post on how to make the perfect over-medium egg. Seriously. GO. (And while you’re at it, have one for me.)

Awww, thanks for sharing my post there! And great links. I am looking forward to the advent calendar as well! And toddler tantrums!? heading there now…even though Levi is hardly a toddler any more, I still need it! 🙂 Aloha friend!

Anytime! I’m all ears about your thoughts on how to handle toddler tantrums, since you’ve been there done that. Maybe you already wrote about it, now I’m going to look at your archives. 😉
