weekend reading 4.0

Because every so often, I come across some great stuff and feel the need to share it. Happy reading and happy weekend, friends.

I’m on a quest to perfect my homemade cold brew recipe. This one has been an okay starting place, but I still feel like it’s a bit weak and often I even use a 1(coffee):2(water) ratio! Can anyone point me in the right direction about what to do about this? Seriously. My iced coffee obsession has reached epic proportions.

Honest talk? This post hit a little close to home, especially this past week when motherhood was extra challenging. For days when I don’t feel like being a mom.

And then, I read a super encouraging post about why we should live with intention and felt more grounded and reminded to be grateful that I can even do what I do.

How many times have I been the recipient of this phrase or even said it myself? A lot. The days are long but the years are short.

Kudos to Madison for writing such an honest, insightful post about when breast isn’t best. Grace over guilt, for sure.

My favorite people from She Reads Truth are at long last(!!) launching a companion site & app for the men on August 17th — He Reads Truth. I’ve already sent my husband the info and can’t wait to see how this might help our devotional/prayer life as a couple improve.

All these posts from Bridget about their summer in Italy (if we did a family gap year, I think this might be our country!) are making me seriously ache for a vacation.

Last but not least, let’s go into the weekend laughing hard. Jim Gaffigan and 12 things you need to know about parenting.
