weekend reading 8.0

It is FRIDAY, hallelujah. Not that moms have weekends per se, but at least the duties are somewhat lightened when the hubs is home during the daytime hours. Praise hands. ALSO, we are running our first ever family 5K on Sunday with the double stroller and it’s going to be crazy fun. It’s still up in the air who will actually push the stroller, but make sure to follow along Instagram or Facebook if you want those earth-shattering updates. I hope y’all enjoy your weekend!

Imposter mom. This is me, every single day, especially with more than one kid.

Reading this story about a miracle gave me the chills. God is so faithful!

Sweet and spicy rosemary cashews. Every week, I try out one new snack and this is on next week’s list.

The nerdy, homeschooler part of me cannot wait to start simple lessons with our son like this leaf learning one.

I’m in love with every single piece in Natalie’s new shop, especially the Jenna necklace.

Spicy chicken chili with pumpkin beer biscuits. Y’all, this blogger has never once disappointed me with her amazing recipes. I can’t wait for cooler weather to try this one.

“Motherhood is about the gospel. Look up and see the cross. Look up and find that the work you are doing matters eternally. Look up and remember that you are not raising a body, you are raising a soul.” Praying this so hard for all the moms in my life, especially the ones raising littles.

Spicy chicken chili with pumpkin beer biscuits?! The only thing that would make it better would be if we could enjoy it together. 🙂
And I love Natalie’s new jewelry too! I really like the Emereson Tassel Necklance.

P.S. Y’all are awesome for pushing a double stroller while running a 5k. I don’t think I could make it through a 5k right now all by myself! #notarunner #wishiwas

Haha, it ended up just being the single stroller – so much easier! Like I tell people who say they aren’t runners, that is OK! Running doesn’t have to be everyone’s thing.

Sharing a meal would be so fun! Gathering at the table is one of my favorite things to do. 🙂
