Two years ago, I started what I hoped would be this great way to help me practice gratitude in my life. As a visual learner and someone who loves capturing what may seem to many like an excessive amount of photographs, I spent the entire month of November capturing images that represented things I was grateful for.
Last year, I completely dropped the ball. When November rolled around, I had just started feeling better from
morning all day sickness with baby #2 and this photo challenge was the last thing on my mind.
This year, I’m back in full force despite the lack of blog posts around here lately. Here is a little more about the life gratitude project, taken from the original post:
Each day in November, I will post a picture which celebrates things I’m grateful for. There are no rules for what it can be, just something I’m thankful to have in my life and a snapshot of what that looks like. There are infinitely way more than thirty things I’m grateful for, but I figure this project is a good way to start. These posts will be just one photo, taken with my big girl camera or iPhone. Does that sound like fun?! I’m excited.
I’m also using a hash tag (because it’s not official until it has its’ own hash tag, right?) #lifegratitudeproject and will also be posting over on Facebook and Instagram each day along with the blog posts. I’d love it if you follow along! Be sure to tag your photos #lifegratitudeproject so I can see them. If you’re not on Facebook or Instagram, don’t fret.
